~smoother lines~

~*~SMOOTHER LINES~*~

So gimp isnt photoshop we sadly will never get 100% smoothness like it but we can get pretty close

STEP 1



So if you remember the lip trick this is sorta like that, you grab the path tool and make your path just outside the jawline, watch the lines of your path between the dots, the more jaggy you make them the more jaggy your final line will be.

once you have gone along the jaw line connect them by pressing ctrl and left lick on the last path dot and then press "selection from path"

STEP 2



Now using the smudge tool we can push out the cheek and because of the path we have set we wont smudge into the rest of the image. you can even blur a little to smooth it out but dont blur too near the edge or it will fade your final lines.

STEP 3



to get rid of the path dots you have i just click the rectangle select tool and click on the background once

once you get confident using this trick you can use it on other things such as eyes heres one of my examples
